Using this site

These terms cover your use of clearpathbiblestudies.com, including the Bible studies, the Hope Guides, and the free PDF study guides (together, the “Site”). By using the Site you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

What is free, and how you may use it

The studies, Hope Guides, and PDF study guides are free. You may:

  • read them, and download and print them, for your own study;
  • use them with your family, small group, class, or church, including printing copies for the people in your group at no charge;
  • link to any page of the Site.

Please keep the Clear Path name and credit on anything you print or share, and share it whole rather than in altered form.

What you may not do

  • Sell our materials, or charge for access to them.
  • Present them as your own, or remove our name or branding.
  • Republish them on another site or in a book, app, or course without asking.
  • Scrape the Site or copy it in bulk for commercial use.
  • Interfere with the Site, or try to get into systems you are not meant to reach.
  • Use our forms for anything unlawful, abusive, or false.

If you want to do more than the permissions above allow, such as reprinting for a conference or building on a study for a curriculum, ask us. We say yes to churches and ministries often.

Ownership

The Site’s text, study guides, graphics, the Clear Path name, the logo, and the emblem belong to Clear Path Bible Studies. These terms give you permission to use them as described above and transfer no ownership.

Scripture in our studies and guides is from the World English Bible, which is in the public domain. Other quotations, where we use them, belong to their own publishers and are used as those publishers allow.

What you send us

When you send us a message, you remain its owner. If you answer “yes” to “May we quote this publicly?” on the feedback form, you give us permission to publish your words, with your first name only, or with no name if you tell us you would rather. We will not publish your email address or phone number. If you change your mind, ask us and we will take your words down.

Not counseling or emergency help

Our studies are for teaching and reflection. They do not replace your church, your pastor, or professional care, and nothing here is medical, mental health, legal, or financial advice. Leaders of study groups are not counselors, and are asked to help people reach one when needed.

We do not monitor our forms in real time. If you or someone else is in danger now, call 911. In the U.S., call or text 988 for crisis support. More numbers are on our help resources page.

Other people’s sites

The Site links to other websites, and some parts of it run on outside services, such as our web host. We do not control those, and their own terms and policies apply to them. Our shop is run separately and has its own terms.

No guarantees

We work to be accurate and to keep the Site running, but the Site and everything on it is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no promise that it will always be available or free of mistakes. If you find an error, please tell us and we will fix it.

Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Clear Path Bible Studies is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from using, or being unable to use, the Site. Some places do not allow these limits, so some of this may not apply to you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top, and using the Site after that means you accept the new terms. Questions, or requests for broader permission, can go through our contact form.
