The founder
Ronald J. Givens · Founder – Executive Director
Ron Givens has devoted his career to making complex subjects clear, practical, and accessible—whether serving in elite military environments, leading corporate training initiatives, teaching in college classrooms, or helping people understand the pages of Scripture.
As a United States Air Force veteran, Ron managed training in some of the military’s most demanding, high-performance environments. He later brought that same discipline and commitment to excellence into corporate and contracting service, where he served as an Organizational Training Manager for the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Energy.
Ron has also taught leadership and communication to adult learners in the military, as a college-level instructor and curriculum developer. As a Certified Instructional Designer and Project Management Professional (PMP), he has spent decades transforming complex objectives into clear, structured, and measurable learning experiences.
Today, Ron brings that lifetime of experience to Clear Path Bible Studies, the Christian publishing and teaching ministry he founded to make Scripture clear, practical, hopeful, and transformational for everyday believers.
Ron does more than write Christian content. He creates thoughtfully structured Bible-learning experiences that help people understand, remember, apply, and live God’s Word—with greater clarity, confidence, and hope.

Are the Clear Path studies free?
Yes — the interactive web-based studies (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, and more) are free to use. Books and printed study guides are available for purchase. We believe Scripture should be accessible to everyone.
Do I need to install an app or create an account?
No. Each study opens in your browser like a regular website. There's no app to install, no learning platform to log in to, and no account required. Open the link, start the study.
Can I use these studies in my small group or church?
Yes — and they're designed for it. Each interactive study includes a session plan (four to nineteen sessions, depending on the book), discussion questions, reflection prompts, and leader notes for every session. Pastors, teachers, and small-group leaders are welcome to use Clear Path resources in their ministry.
What translation of the Bible do you use?
Clear Path Bible Studies primarily uses the World English Bible (WEB). The WEB is a modern-English translation of Scripture that is in the public domain. This allows us to include complete Bible passages throughout our free digital studies without imposing copyright restrictions on the people, churches, small groups, and ministries that use and share them. We selected the WEB because it combines readable contemporary English with broad freedom for teaching, publishing, translating, and international distribution. That freedom supports our mission to make clear, Scripture-centered Bible study available to anyone, anywhere, without cost or unnecessary barriers. We always encourage you to read each passage in your own Bible as well. Comparing trusted translations can deepen understanding and help you notice important details in the text. One more reason we love the WEB: it is completely free for public use, so nothing ever stands between you and the text. But the WEB is our default, not a limit. If you and your group would like these studies in a different translation, we can do that — we will design your Bible study in any major translation. Are these studies safe for new believers and teens?
Absolutely. Clear Path is written for adults, teens, new believers, and small-group leaders alike. Strong theology, plain language, and no fear-based teaching.
