The Lamb

Jesus, slain yet reigning — the book’s central figure

Announced as the conquering Lion of Judah, Jesus appears as a Lamb ‘as though slain,’ who alone is worthy to open the scroll of history. He is worshiped as God, shepherds the redeemed, wages war by His word, weds His bride, and is the temple and the light of the New Jerusalem.
